Its officially fall here in Seattle.

You just take a crappy photo, throw it into Pinik and wham! your tree suddenly looks like its on a kool-aid acid high.

Also took and edited this picture:

If I were putting it in a gallery I would say something like: “It really captures an urban hardness, while celebrating the delicate connection we all have with nature.” I watch a lot of Bravo. And, yes, those are clogs.

I’m aware that only nurses and professional chefs wear clogs.

Anyway, this post was supposed to be about soup. When the weather gets crappy, I just want to stay home and eat soup. Today was definitely one of those days. I was thinking about soup at 6:30am. Im not entirely sure this is normal.

For those of you who 1) have jobs that prevent you from taking 4 hours out of your day to make soup and 2) are near an Au Bon Pain – I highly recommend the pumpkin soup. Its so good that you almost forget that this crappy French knock off fast food chain is removing your left leg for 16oz of soup.

We don’t have one here, so I am going to try and make this tonight. I’ll let you know how it goes. Probably with lots of pictures that make the soup look radio active.
